Yep. It will be here before we know it!
Please make sure your child has boots, snow pants, hat, and gloves. They will be going outside for recess during the winter and will want to play in the snow. Otherwise they are stuck standing on the sidewalk.
We have been working on ordering numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least. We have also worked on rounding to the nearest 10 and 100.
Please work with your child on getting the addition facts memorized for speed and accuracy. The facts must be memorized.
The students have been working on reading ford context. They read short passages with words left out. They had to use context to determine which word fit best.
The students started learning about natural resources and the meaning of the word agriculture.
The 3rd graders learned the four types of prayer: blessing, praise, petition, and thanksgiving.
